The Virtual Audio Imager utilizes patented technology to simultaneously project both channels of a stereo signal independently into a listener's left and right ears, allowing an individual to appreciate the stereo effects within a recording. In contrast, standard speakers disperse sound in all directions blending the left and right channels which were recorded to be heard by each ear independently.
The blended sound is received by both the left and right ear making it impossible for the individual to determine the location from which the sound is emanating.
The VAI's unique stereo projection provides a listener with a pure stereo audio experience, and true stereo separation, previously obtained exclusively through headphones. The resulting sound is heard in "3D" audio as the listener perceives selected sound coming from a full 360 degrees.
